30 Days on Paper
A Month of Creative Self-Documentation
Open to all Paper Lab members and past participants, this program is free of charge and dedicated to those who wish to continue their practice in the lab state of mind.
Introduction
Life is written in traces. A gesture repeated, a thought returned to, a mark left behind—each small act accumulates, creating patterns that reveal how we exist in time. 30 Days on Paper is an experiment in giving form to these traces, allowing them to unfold over thirty days of daily documentation.
Repetition becomes a tool of discovery. By committing to a simple, daily act on paper—conceptual, material, or labor-driven—you allow rhythm itself to shape the work. Documentation becomes topography: an archive of gestures, fragments, and reflections, mapping presence across time.
This experiment takes place four times a year—once for every season—as part of our effort to sustain and guide the Paper Lab community. We offer the platform and our guidance freely; participants bring their labor, their curiosity, and their DNA.
Program Flow
Opening Session: November 11, 2025
A shared introduction to the experiment, its framework, and intentions.Summary Session: December 17, 2025
A collective gathering where participants share highlights of their thirty days—visual and textual traces presented as a short documentation. The closing session becomes both archive and conversation, mapping what has emerged in common and in difference.
Documentation
Each participant sustains a visual and textual journal over the thirty days. The form is open: notes, sketches, fragments, layered works, conceptual scores, or material experiments. The aim is not to produce a finished work, but to remain attentive to the accumulation of traces—daily acts that together form a personal self-topography.
Notes
Free of charge, exclusively for Paper Lab members and past participants.
Limited spaces—registration required.
Both sessions will be recorded and available to participants.
30 Days on Paper is a seasonal commitment to presence and repetition, to the act of mapping the self through paper. It is an experiment in which time itself becomes material, and paper its witness
